Hi, Found out what was causing it.
It seems that my power plan got Inadvertently changed to the high
performance plan.
Putting it back to the recommended setting fixed it.

slowdown.
Not a QWS problem, but QWS of course heavily relies on the system clock being
accurate and without glitch.
Fix whatever's causing the CPU to peg, you've fixed your QWS problem. Done.
