From my understanding, the key command function only works with keys on your keyboard. It does not work with other types of controllers, such as pitch bend wheel, sliders, or knobs. However, in future releases of QWS, it would be nice to have a controller command function so you could assign a controller to hit the record button or the play button, or change the tempo.
