synthfont has a links page to several midi and soundfonts sites
including ftp in sweeden which has a lot of older stuff.
things like the yamaha xg sound set and the soundset remap
soundmax xg sets
good fonts, weeds general midi gm3 seems to be good
tambres of heaven, personal coppy full.
arachnofillia is one I like but synthfont site has a lot of merlin and
other fonts, personalcopy.net I think has some.
If you look round you will find some fonts, I have emulators for
soundblaster, the gravis ultrasound, several opl synths, fm synths sb16,
gameboys and even mobile phones.
Some sound almost good.
I have 2.24gb of soundfonts I have colected over the years.
look at synthfont site as thats where I got a lot of those from.
