Are you set to the right port on the interface within QWS?

Subject: Re: QWS List triton setup

Hi, Seth,

The Rack itself operates as it should. The demos play. I connected the output
of the controller keyboard directly into the Triton and I heard notes as I
played them. I could change instrulments on the controller and the sound
changed.

I had forgotten to press "multi." I did that and nothing changed.

I checked the ports I should use and unchecked those I shouldn't use. I can do
that via the Options but the track menu still didn't see anything.

One thing to try: there should be a way you can test to make sure
you’re getting sound out of the Triton, such as a built-In demo song, or
something of that nature. That would be a good place to start, as this is a
module so you can’t just play a keyboard to make sure you’re getting sound.
That’ll make the Midi conundrum somewhat easier to solve. Then, make sure
your Triton is in the right mode: I believe its called multi mode. I also
found the Triton rack manuals online:

        https://www.korg.com/us/support/download/manual/1/220/1663/
The one you’ll want is the basic guide, and there is a link to it below
the license agreement. This manual also explains how to play the demo song, as
well as how to hook up the Triton to the computer via midi.

        God bless!

        Good afternoon List,

I now have the Triton rack and the USB to MIDI adapter.

The adapter has two sets of In and out MIDI jacks. This is not a Merge
box.

The keyboard connects to the computer. Another USB Nport on that
computer connects to the USB port on the Box. To this point I don't have the
Triton plugged in because I don't know which jack represents which port.

I run QWS and I see all expected ports. I check the keyboard out. I see
In and Out ports on the box. I select an output port.

At this point I try the rack in all ports on the box. Key presses on
the controller produce no sound from the nTriton.

I go to the track menu and try to set all ports. QWS says that that
option is disabled.

I don't get that! Does all this never and?

I need your ideas! Thank you for reading this.
