Lo que han hecho los investigadores y científicos
desde hace marras es citarse textualmente unos a otros.
Así pueden, entre otras cosas, reclamar sus derechos de autor sobre lo
bueno, lo menos bueno o lo malo que hacen. Ninguno, hasta donde yo he
visto, se escapa de este sino.
Tambien, hasta donde yo sé, lo único que no tiene
derechos de autor son los chistes y el buen humor.
Loet Leydesdorff es, entre otras cosas, un
especialista en citación.

combined Dear colleagues,
As you may know, the
Journal Citation Reports of the two ISI-databases (Science Citation
Index and Social Science Citation Index) both contain citation
information to the alternative file. In the context of a new project,
I merged
the data from the two JCRs for the purpose of the visualization of relevant
citation environments and local impacts.
The files can be
found at http://www.leydesdorff.net/jcr04/cited and http://www.leydesdorff.net/jcr04/citing , respectively. The new
files have advantages when one is interested in developments at the interfaces
between the two domains.
