no,the id is  variable of a table,such as:
  treatment id  age response
    low         1   50   20
    low         1   60   30
    high        5   50   30
    high        5   60  40

.......

I want to rearranage the table according the id (increasing),since id is not
strictly from 1~n,it is in increasing order but sometime jump through many
number like 1 1 5 5,I like them to be 1 1 2 2~
