Thanks, Thomas. I don't seem to have anything related to this in R-1.7.1 (16/06/03). However, some web-searching finally tracked down http://stat.ethz.ch/R-manual/R-devel/library/base/html/conditions.html so what would be involved in making this stuff available? Upgrade to current R? Install a beta-version?
