Hmm ... this is news to me. I'm guessing this might be some international keyboard issue? Eg. on my (US) keyboard, the curly brace is shift-[ and shift-]. I'm not really sure what to tell you if alt-8 is giving you "{" in every program but emacs ... I'm sure there's some simple solution. > I am switched to the interface below the editor itself.
