Wow, my statement below was meant to be funny, but apparently it hit a nerve. "Rude and stupid" seems a bit strong, given that this is just a fun way for Writers & Books and the D&C to team up and encourage some writing -- and reach out to the Facebook crowd. If a Writer's & Books campaign required me to eat at McDonald's, I would simply not participate. I wouldn't be offended by it.
