I have written some R6RS libraries (e.g., an x86 disassembler) that I
want to put somewhere where people can find them. But when a library
has been written it's almost never a big deal, and I for one am too
modest to announce it on somewhere like c.l.scheme. A central
repository for R6RS compatible libraries, like Perl's CPAN, would help
increase adoption.

If there also was a standard distribution of useful libraries, like
the standard modules for Python, that would help increase adoption
too. The administrator of the central library repository would be in a
good position to create such a distribution.

I'm hoping I won't have to create all this infrastructure myself. But
I will contribute libraries if someone builds it.

Regards,
