This is an opportunity in disguise. All of the candidates who want to "reunite the community" now have a case-study on the crux of the "R6RS issue" right before their eyes: >From one perspective, people are wasting time on minor issues that came about from the mad ramblings of the attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder ridden members of the community. >From another perspective, this is a core issue, about which people have no qualms about "wasting time on" it. Maybe you are right and it is useless banter; but maybe there is an opportunity for future steering committee members to break this down and look at what kind of process or approach needs to be realized to make clearly obvious decision's made in the standard both clear and obvious to the community. _______________________________________________ r6rs-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.r6rs.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/r6rs-discuss
