You can SMS in Unicode, but it's UCS-2 (aka UTF-16 without surrogate
pairs), so your 160-character limit is reduced to 70 characters (not 80
because non-Unicode SMS is truly 7-bit).

My main moral (aside from the obvious moral "Don't overreact" and the
more subtle moral "Pay attention to vowel harmony") is "What is a trivial
detail to one is a matter of life and death to another."

My meta-moral is "Put the (technical) details in parentheses."
