I see one implementation on the list (LispMe) which the author considers to be dead (i.e. no future versions will be developed). Perhaps the best way of compiling accurate information on which implementations are currently being developed is to put out an open call for implementors to fill out a survey, and to send an invitation to implementors who are reasonably active. In order to come up with a "ranking", perhaps an open survey of users asking how often they program in Scheme (perhaps a # of hours per month) and which implementations they use, ranked by amount of time spent using it (perhaps by dividing up the hours). It doesn't need to be exceptionally accurate, but I think it would be a good way of objectively "ranking" implementations. -- Brian Mastenbrook [email protected] http://brian.mastenbrook.net/ _______________________________________________ r6rs-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.r6rs.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/r6rs-discuss
