Forgive my naiveté in this question: for the past 10-15 years implementers have done fine without a new standard and so have the users, it *seems* only the users want to see R7RS happen, and if the implementers don't like R7RS they just won't implement it, so with that in mind, what do the implementers have to benefit from the results of the R7RS effort? There is a lot of talk from a users perspective, but from an implementers perspective (other than what Joe mentioned), nothing is jumping out at least based on the landscape today. Which Schemes will lead the aforementioned pack towards R7RS (regardless of who are leaders by use or popularity)? _______________________________________________ r6rs-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.r6rs.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/r6rs-discuss
