+inf.0 I do not think we will get anywhere with an attitude that considers R6RS to be a bad dream foisted on us by a group of crazed fanatics. The R6RS Editors worked very hard to articulate their vision, and even where we might disagree with individual decisions, or even with the process, those Editors deserve our respect and thanks for going through an arduous process with so little professional reward, merely to help advance the language. I think it's essential that we not only follow the SC's Terms of Reference, but furthermore we treat R6RS with respect. For all the weaknesses and problems it exhibits, it is a genuine contribution, and our goal should be to improve it. -- v _______________________________________________ r6rs-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.r6rs.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/r6rs-discuss
