Consider:

#lang scribble/manual

bla blah blah@(linebreak)
blah blah bla @superscript{blah blah bah}@(linebreak)
bla blah blah

Works very well,
but the linespacing between the first 2 lines is larger
than between the last 2 lines.

Can I force scribble to maintain the standard linespacing
when a line follows with a superscript?
I understand that @superscript{@superscript{@superscript{@superscript{x}}}
would cause problems. However, with only one level of superscripting
I see no need to enlarge the linespacing.

Thanks, Jos
