Thanks for your reply. Let me put this in a little better perspective. I own *ten* Squeezeboxes: one V2, five V3's, three Booms, and a Radio. None of them has networking problems in my house except the Radio.
I was able to get the Radio to connect wirelessly once from one room. When I turned it off and moved it to another room, the connection could no longer be made. So I moved it back to the original room, and again the connection could not be made. I tried a third room that has a Boom in it, and again the connection could not be made. (After that, I gave up and connected an ethernet cable.) Sorry, I think this suggests strongly that wireless on the Radio -- at least the brand new, Logitech-shipped unit I own -- is inferior to wireless on the other Squeezeboxes. Granted, the Radio is a cheaper product.... This is with WEP 128-bit with SSID Broadcast disabled. My router is the standard Actiontec MI424WR for Verizon FIOS. -- blazeslim ------------------------------------------------------------------------ blazeslim's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3211 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=72806 _______________________________________________ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
