I have also been suffering almost daily from such problems on my SBR. Usually I log in to mysqueezebox.com and run the Remote Control by which I can turn on then SBR and select a Favourite. Not very handy, because then I just as well listen to the same favourites directly on on a PC eg. with wINAMP.
