Thanks tcutting and aubuti. Regarding the magnet in the Boom remote, it sticks to the side of my refrig much stronger than to the Boom! I guess the downside of replacing Boom/Radio remote with the number-key remote is that the latter won't fit in the little well on top of the Boom and probably isn't magnetic either...
