What about in Canada, where the Canadian Logitech website states: "Additional options sold separately (available March 2010) Rechargeable battery pack"
It's now late April and there are no signs of the battery pack and Canadians are not permitted to order (or in this case "pre-order") the battery pack from the US website. This is truly bogus in that Canadian consumers purchased this "portable" device with the promise of a battery pack being available and now, going on 2 months, none is even available for "pre-order" in the Canadian market. I, for one, feel that I have paid for something that does not currently have the promised functionality. Logitech is a big company, if their battery supplier can't meet the forecasted demand, find a new supplier. These are batteries, not artificial hearts for crying out loud!!!
