I must be lucky with my Radio - I've never had any of these issues. Sorry to hear of your problems. What are you going to get instead? The big downside of Sonos for me is the lack of a display. Not an issue if you always have a controller to hand, but having multiple IR remotes kicking around and the ability to control from the device directly makes the Squeezebox platform much more flexible IMO.
I still think the Boom is a much better product than Radio.
