Check out a couple of other threads along this line with Napster and Rhapsody. It seems to work OK if your playlist is fired from a preset button. If you run it from a Favorite or from the Application (under My Apps) then it doesn't pick up the current shuffle setting.
If you start the playlist, turn shuffle off and then on again, the rest of the playlist is randomized. Downside is that you always get the same first song.
