It seems to be working fine now. I've had quite a bit of experience with various slim devices/logitech products (I have or have had three SB3s, a duet, a touch, a boom, and now a radio), so I'm used to this kind of thing.
With that said, if I were in charge there I would make it an urgent priority to get the interface you encounter when you first plug the thing in working properly. You know what they say about first impressions.
