The Booms alarm in my opinion is much more unreliable.
Sure - if everything is ok it will sound an alarm (as will the Radio),
but if something is wrong (server connection or stream) it will
silently fail, where the Radio has a much better fallback mechanism.
Indeed - most people complaining about the Radio alarm do so not
because its not sounding at all, but because the fallback is a bit too
strict (just one glimpse of streams errors-and it will go off), thus
they very often just hear the fallback if their network has trouble.

Buy the way: with 7.5.2 the fallback will fade in, so its not as
shocking as it used to be.
