Well, I thought the plan was not to shut down the zune services, but probably a 'rebranding' since the Zune players have been eol'ed. First step is to migrate the service to the Windows Phone 7.5 App Store, after that integration with Windows App Store (Windows 8). So it depends on the succes of the Nokia/Microsft deal, I guess.
