Can you describe more about the "switching off" behavior? When you turn it back on, does it come on immediately, or does it go through a "re-boot" (the logitech "splash screen" and such?). Does the Radio have a battery? I've had issues with mine not connecting well with the power cord - if this is the case, and it's using the battery, it will automatically turn off after a period of time (if it's not playing). If that's the case, you should be able to tell from the charging icon if it's operating on battery, or it's charging. If it doesn't show charging (animated battery icon), or charged (full battery with lightening bolt), then try wiggling the power connector to see if it starts charging.
