mmd-osm left a comment (openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website#6669)
I suppose layerLinks would have to be managed in
https://github.com/openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website/blob/master/config/layers.yml,
rather than hardcoding them in Javascript.
There are a few other issues here, so best wait for more feedback before
changing anything.
