We are currently in the process of converting our 50and.com application into a Rails 3 Engine, so we can expand into other communities. To help us along we are seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails developer. You must have: * At least 2 years commercial experience with Ruby on Rails, HTML, CSS and Javascript * Know your way around Unix * Experience working with Git * Worked in an Agile environment * Understand and effectively use TDD and BDD methods Bonus points if you have: * Some experience with PostgreSQL deployments * Worked with Rails 3* ** Worked with Rails Engines before * Good understanding of jQuery * Worked with Mingle before * Are in Adelaide (or can be) We are based in Thebarton, Adelaide. We prefer that you work from our office but we are open to taking on an offsite team member if you have the right skills and experience. We have some flexibility over whether the position is fulltime or part-time. Salary is negotiable based on experience.
