Hello everybody,

Fat Zebra is growing its team and we are looking for a few additional Rails
developers to join the company as we continue to build out new technologies and
solutions in the Payments space.

Based in Surry Hills we are a small but growing company (currently 8 people)
and we build a payments platform that serves a large share of payment gateways
in Australia, in addition to a number of large ecommerce websites.
Our Technologies:
- Ruby, Ruby on rails
- Postgres
- JavaScript (plus React – we are starting to include this in some of our
applications)
- DevOps Practices
- TDD
- experience with Go is an advantage
- experience with other languages (.NET, Java, Python, PHP etc) is a plus, but
not necessary

This role is suited to people who are happy to self-manage, work independently
but also collaborate with other team members where required. We are primarily
looking for developers of intermediate to advanced skill levels, but happy to
consider all applicants.
Ideally you would have:

- experience with RoR, Databases and web applications in general
- the ability to work independently, but seek assistance where required
- work well without direct supervision – at times your direct manager or team
lead may be working remotely or away on travel
- be able to work with non-technical staff to discuss ideas and work on new
solutions

If you (or someone you know) are interested in this position please send an
email to [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> with your
CV/Resume and a brief introduction about yourself.
Thank you!
