I was led to write this yesterday-It might be mostly for Duane and Jen but it certainly applies to all

Just a Tool

Royal Rangers is just a tool: A tool to be used to bring young men to Jesus Christ. Once it has brought them to Him it also can be used to keep them plugged into His Word, His Body, and His Presence.

When that tool doesn’t work anymore then it is time to lay it down and pick up another tool. We need to ask the Master Carpenter what tool will be most effective for shaping young lives.

Sometimes there is nothing wrong with the tool-we have just grown weary and need a break-a rest. Or it could be that the tool has become dull from lack of keeping it sharp. Are we reading His Word and praying. Are we spending time in His presence and becoming renewed?

We are also tools of Gods choosing and we need to stay sharp. We don’t want to be set down and have God use another to do what we were called to do.

And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Gal 6:9

"I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars; and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name's sake and have not become weary. Rev 2:2-3

Heb 12:2-3   looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Cor 15:58

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD,
"plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give
you hope and a future. Jer. 29:11
