I'm not sure what to put in the subject but I guess that will do. ;-)
I had a awsome time in the Lord last night/this morning. I think
I was wasn't finished untill 4:00 am this morning. I just opened up
and began to pray. Not only for me, but for my outpost as well.
We have often talked about the conflict between Youth and Rangers.
After several minutes of prayering, I began to hear the voice of the Lord.
In praying for the Youth and Rangers He said to prayer and show them
them the way. He really wasn't clear on the show them the way.
apperiantly I have to figure that out on my own. I also prayed for my
outpost.
And even before I got done, He said "they can be." He was speaking
of how I look at other outpost and stand in awe of them. The simple answer
was for prayer and support. By support he means being there Sunday and
Wednesday.
Even though, I'm pulling out a year. Just to be there to show support would
mean alot
for the boys. It seams like ever question I asked I heard the answer of
prayer.
For those of you in dought, prayer does work. If this just a preview as to
what
my year is going to be like. When I return to Rangers at the end of Nov
2000 the boys
and Commanders will see someone totaly different.
After I got done praying, I was flipping through the cable and came
acrossed a Popeye
cartoon. The lord told me to watch it because there would a spiritual truth
in it.
The cartoon was about train race where Popeye was racing Baulto (sp).
As the race got underway, Baulto did everthing he could to get ahead. Even
cheat.
There was once time he put coal in the smoke it stack, and in another he
took of the drive shaft
on Popeye's train. The point is Satan is cheater. He tells stuff that isn't
true.
Sometimes it seems as though Satan is wining and trying everthing to get us
of track. Just when we think we are about to lose, the Lord shows the way
to Victory.
Like Baulto in the cartoon. Satan is left behind stumping the ground
because he lost.
Victory has been won.
