Hi,

I am trying to some-how match the RGB histogram of my camera
(derived from the built-in jpeg) to the true parameters
within the raw file. My question is : how are the
histograms in raw-studio calculate : are they obtained from
the built in jpeg or extrapolated from the raw data ? What
are the "cut-off" points for both the coloured "blown out"
dots on the histogram and for the exposure mask in the
preview ?

Apologies if this is a stupid question. My hope is
eventually to have RGB histograms on-camera that accurately
reflect the data within the raw file.

TIA

Francesco
