Yep, I understand that the line needs to be draw somewhere when determining
whether a feature should be part of the raw processing or some subsequent
post-processing step. I'm on the fence about this, I kind of see the curves
almost as a extension of the colorspace manipulations; but then again, I
might be biased since it is so far the only processing I ever do outside of
rawstudio, and I'm only just starting to play with it. :)

I'm going to try and see if I can create a couple of DCP profiles with some
general settings and see if I can accomplish something similar.

Somewhat related, is 2.0 going to have some plugin api capabilities? I saw a
discussion from a while ago on the dev mailing list archives, but that was
some time ago. These type of feature additions might be a good use of a
plugin system?
