Maybe it's time for one of us to start writing a manual. > You should be able to see tags for a photo by hovering over it in the iconbox... Regarding how I do it, I go through all the photos in the ALL priority tab and clicks 1 if the photo should stay, and do that a couple of more times until I have the perfect photos in priority 3... (or at least that's the idea). I don't do any more than that. I have been working on a patch that allows you to see priority 3, when showing pri 2 as well (and likewise). I think that makes it a bit smoother... There are a few more ideas that are still missing implementations for helping on sorting - we have grouping of photos in current trunk. The idea behind this is that you can mark N photos as a group if they are alike (a auto-group function will see if they are taking within a second of each other - probably burst) and help you select the best photo of them cause, often you only wan't one of them. We still need this gui.. We actually have a user-written user-guide, but it could use an update - Richard ;) http://rawstudio.org/svn/rawstudio/doc/getting-started/Getting_started.pdf /Anders > Thanks again; > > David > > On Thu, 2010-12-09 at 23:18 +0100, Anders Kvist wrote: > >> On 2010-12-09 23:09, David Vincent-Jones wrote: >> >>> I would be interested to know what software others are using to manage >>> all of their images. >>> RS does such a great job in its speciality field, but where does one go >>> for grading, sorting, printing, general management etc? >>> >>> David >>> >> Grading, sorting and all that I use RS :) >> >> I don't really print, but I have thought about making an output plugin >> for a print-shop (some suggestions for a global print-shop would be >> great) and like the export to GIMP, an export to photoprint.
