I do the same, except I assign the priorities the other way around, i.e. priority 1 is for 'first priority', i.e. the best shots. I think this is more congruent with the language used to describe our selections, and for this reason it may reduce confusion among new users if the priority 1 view shows only priority 1 photos, the priority 2 view shows priority 1 and 2, and 3 shows 1, 2 and 3.
