The reason we are no longer including EXIF in PNG iis because some (older?)
versions of libexiv2 will not be able to parse the files if we add EXIF to
the files (even when using EXIV2. This will make programs like DigiKam
unable to read any meta-data from the file, even if we also add XMP data.

So if we add EXIF to PNGs (using the unofficial method), you might
experience some programs that are unable to read any meta-data from the
files. So because of that we only add XMP data.
