Hi! Thanks for all the great suggestions. I will try to sum up on them here
>Insert in batch queue should have feedback on success. Ideally, I'd like to be able to see the Tools and Batch tabs at the same time, side by side. Look at the status bar. >Sorting - does the order in the batch queue mean anything other than the processing order? If not, I think the list should be sorted by filename. Processing them in the order they are added makes the most sense. First of all it enables you to select which ones to process first, which may be useful if you have several thousand you need to process. Second of all, when uploading to web albums for instance it determines the order in which they are placed in the albums - so I don't want to mess that up. >Review - add another priority tab "Q" for reviewing just the images you are going to export. How exactly? >It would be much faster to find good settings if the image updated continuously while dragging, not after, as in GIMP. And of course with restarted rendering with each movement of the mouse for responsiveness. Great idea - just committed it! Slightly different implementation though, it will start rendering 50ms after you stop moving the mouse, which makes it responsive and feel like instant updating. >It should be possible to choose "no lens". Go into "Edit Lens" or the Lens Library, unclick "Enable Lens" for the lense. >I tried choosing a lens (setting) for a lens that is not in the library. Now I can't get rid of the setting! Just disabling it is not enough. Go into the Lens Library and right-click the lens. Now you can select another lens. >There should be keyboard shortcuts to switch between them for quick comparison. I can focus the tabs and then switch between them with the arrow keys but it is troublesome to focus the tab each time I want to compare settings. Ctrl+Pageup & Ctrl+Pagedown swicthes between settings. >Re-straighten and re-crop* *Yes - there should be an undo stack in general. >The default of clicking anywhere on an image to change its whitebalance Yes - completely agree. The change for 2.0 was too big to implement in time, but I also dislike the default behaviour - IMO it should be more like a mode selection. >After classifying an image move the focus in the iconbox to the next image Not sure about that one - Ctrl+Left&Right is pretty easy to find, and if the iconview is focused it is just pressing left/right. Could be selectable, but I'm not sure. >Dragging the [crop] sides should be possible. Yes - good point - also having larger handle areas makes sense! Regards, Klaus Post http://www.klauspost.com
