Hi,

I'm trying to get my head around what the "display colourspace" setting
in rawstudio does. I understand that it is selecting the gamut that
the display should use, but I don't understand *why* you would want to
change this and what I should set it to for my set up.

I'm running GNOME 3.4 on two machines, one has an uncalibrated CRT
monitor and the other has a calibrated LCD monitor (so there is a
colour profile correcting the output).

Should I just select sRGB for both the CRT and LCD displays? And on
the uncalibrated CRT display, why does changing between sRGB and
"System Display Profile" have an effect on the displayed image? What
*is* the system display profile for an uncalibrated monitor?

Thanks for any help -- I'm still new to all this colour theory stuff.

All the best,

--
