A few suggestions ...
While in Form Designer:
01. DB Check Box Properties > Properties >
Verify the Caption:
Make sure to delete any trailing spaces
Verify the option for [ ] Transparent
02. DB Check Box Properties > Effects
Verify the Vertical Alignment and Bidirectional Mode
03. Click on [Apply] button to save changes.
04. Close and Exit Form Designer
05. RUN the form and see what you get.
