I want to caveat my comments by indication that I am running on RBase X Enterprise Version 10.0.2.11010 but I am not sure it should make a difference. I imported a large spreadsheet file with 140 columns and 40,000+ records. Naturally, a lot of the columns come in as text and when displayed on the Data Browse they take half the screen and it takes forever to move across the data. I have changed/shrunk the displayed width of the columns and selected Save layout; also, I have Layout checked under settings:
As soon as I exit the Save Layout Option, the format reverts to the wide columns. I have tried saving the Layout and exiting and when I reopen the Data Browser the columns are back to being the original wide size. Any hint on what else I need to be doing to be able to save the layout? Thanks in advance.
