Tip of the Day: Easily Toggle the Check Box State in List View Controls
Product: R:BASE 11
Build: 11.0.2.20821 or higher
Section: Forms
Keywords: List View, Check Box, Check Status, Space Key

Did you know that List View controls now support the [Space] key for updating
check box states?

When multiple items are highlighted in a List View, Variable Lookup List View,
or DB Lookup List View control, you can now press the [Space] key to toggle the
check box status for all highlighted rows at once.

This enhancement streamlines interaction with list view controls, allowing
users to quickly turn check boxes on or off without having to click each one
manually.

To display check boxes in list view controls, enable the "Show Check Boxes"
option, which adds a check box column at the far left of the list.

Why use check boxes on forms?

 * Efficiency - Quickly select or deselect items without extra typing or clicks.
 * Clarity - Provide a clear, organized way to present options.
 * Accessibility - Properly implemented check boxes work seamlessly with screen
readers and assistive technologies, improving usability for all users.Whether
used as a standalone control or as part of another control, check boxes enhance
the efficiency, clarity, and accessibility of your forms.
