Monday, September 2, 2025 Tip of the Day: Image Loading and File Path Preservation Product: R:BASE 11 Build: 11.0.2.20821 or higher Section: Forms Keywords: Image, Last File Name, Hint, Path
Did you know that R:BASE preserves the file name and path when an image is loaded into a control? For R:BASE controls that allow a single image to be loaded, a read-only property called "Last File Name" is populated with the image's file path and name. If the path is long, it is truncated to fit within the property editor dialog, but the full path remains accessible. Hover your mouse over the truncated text to reveal the complete file path as a hint. This feature has been applied to all controls that support loading a single image, ensuring that the "Last File Name" property includes the full path and that any truncated paths are easily accessible via the hint. Benefits of the "Last File Name" Feature include: * Location and File Reference: Provides an apparent reference to the image's location for later review, which is helpful in both individual and collaborative development environments. * Seamless Development Workflow: Ensures smooth persistence of image data across different development sessions. * Resource Tracking: Facilitates tracking of image files, helping developers keep track of resources within the application. The Support Team R:BASE Technologies, Inc. https://www.rbase.com <https://www.rbase.com/> -- For group guidelines, visit http://www.rbase.com/support/usersgroup_guidelines.php --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBASE-L" group.
