Hello, all -

I am seeking collaboration on what should be a normal procedure but so far
has eluded solution:

On a form I have a DB grid with a column named HOUR formatted as TIME. I
want to change the background color for values which are less than the
current time (overdue). Time is formatted as HHMM, 24 hours without spaces
or delimiters. Under column properties, I have used the formula for the
column HOUR "<(.#time)", together with all the variations I can think of
for quotes and parentheses. Nothing works.

I am wondering if comparing time values is not possible (hardly seems
realistic). Or am I missing some obscure detail?

I am hoping someone has solved a similar problem. Thanks in advance for any
help.
