When I create a view, it is in a file that starts with DROP VIEW ....... followed by CREATE VIEW ...... The names of these files end with .VW I have a run file that runs all the .vw files. In this way I don't have to remember which view to run after changing a table -- just run them all, it only takes a few seconds.
