At the risk of being assessed further charges by my fellow emcee Sami, I have been asked for more details about the pre-conference, post-conference activity previously referenced.
This activity would take place at Meadowink G*** Course in Murrysville, just a very short distance from the offices of R:Base Technologies. Each year there have been some participants who are pretty good at this particular activity, and some who are pretty bad, but that's not the point! If there is any money or prizes at stake, we will use something like a Callaway handicap system to equalize the field. Everyone is very welcome (along with significant others, and cousins who live in Pittsburgh, etc.) Fees are very reasonable. The venue offers beautiful views and some very challenging holes, but the people with you are likely to be a generous, friendly bunch, who will let you use a hand wedge when necessary, as long as you buy the drinks. And, in the spring (unlike past fall conferences) we won't lose so many g*** balls in those beautiful piles of leaves lining the edges.
