Have developed a timer form to check a table for unsent faxes, and

Installed RFax on our server, which runs Windows Server 2003
When I run the same form from there, rbase fails to bring up the fax
status form (or whatever it is properly called) and thus does not
send the fax. It does not give any error message, just fail to work.
Is Rfax supposed to be compatable with Server 2003?
I sure would like to have this off my desk and running on the server.
Dick,
How are you planning to run R:Fax from the Windows 2003 Server?
Is that a place where you will be using the PLUGIN RFax.RBL command?
Is that a place where R:BASE 7.x or R:BASE Turbo V-8 is installed?
Technically, you may share the fax device on the network. However,
you must install (RFax.RBL) and configure the R:Fax settings on the
workstation running and/or initiating the PLUGIN RFax.RBL command.
Depending on the R:Fax licensing, you may also place the RFax.RBL
Plugin in RBG7.EXE, RBG75.EXE, RBG76.EXE or RBG8.EXE directory, on
each workstation running your application. This approach will
simplify using the RFax.RBL Plugin without specifying the location
and path.
Hope that explains!
Very Best R:egards,
Razzak.
