[RBASE-L] - Variable Calendar Date Selection Doesn't Follow Variable

Hello,

I am having trouble getting the blue selection highlight to follow the 
variable attached to my calendar. If I define the calendar variable 
using code in another part of my form, the variable itself changes, but 
the blue selection highlight on the calendar won't budge. What gives, guys?
