That and the reminder that occasionally the enhancement requests' workaround is so trivial that inclusion in the EXE of every such workaround would eventually bring the product to its' knees, literally. The product as it stands today virtually sings by comparison (what am I saying.. there is no comparison!) to anything else remotely similar, in large part to the extension and expansion of the macro language by RBTI.

There is little you cannot do with a little effort on your part and when you truly are against the wall without any remedy, the good folks at RBTI have always had an open mind and a helping hand.

Dan,
This is quite normal. Many of the suggestions that I had made in
the earlier years of the windows versions of R:base went un-marked
until I put up a fuss, then they marked them as 'No Plans to Include'
but are now part and parcel of the R:base you always wanted. Keep
making suggestions. They may happen at some time.

I submitted them on the rbti site as enhancement requests. There has

Dan: Did you do this through the "proper" channels and suggest it
on the Developers website? If so, what did they put down as the
"status" of your enhancements? If you only made the suggestions
thru this list or wrote an email to someone directly at RBTI, then I
don't think it gets in the queue.

I know there are workarounds to these items. That is why they are
enhancement requests.

As a supporter of rapid application development, these would be
time savers for me and would increase functionality for my users.

That way I can tell my boss that the money we paid for SAP makes a
difference...
