The problem also happens with note fields. What you need to do is edit the rtf and make sure that you have at least one or two extra (phantom) returns after your last period. You won't be able to see them except the line number at the bottom of the edit box will increase. Save and see if that doesn't fix your issue.

The data prints in the detail band but sometimes the bottom lines of the text do not print. (no errors posted) The source data is VARCHAR and the report object is RTF with stretch checked. I tried recreating the report from scratch and it still reacted the same. Does anyone have an idea as to what may be wrong? John
