Perhaps Windows has fixed this in 7 ?

It seems it affects ALL programs and from my stand point when I have Outlook on
my right screen (not my default that is front of my face!) and I switch to one
monitor it would be nice that the OS would know. Perhaps this energy should be
pointed at Microsoft and hope they fix the problem.

Then Alex has more time to fix things that are broken that I do not even know
are broken.  < lol  heee!   .,^.. >

I must admit, I had a virus attack and it took a snap shot of my main screen
and turned the whole thing into a http link years ago and it was not smart
enough to take control of my right screen and that was where I have Task
Manager (really Progman from Microsoft its better) always running and because
of that I was able to kill the virus easily.

Sincerely,
Paul Dewey

Subject: [RBASE-L] - RE: Problems with switching from using 2 to 1 screen

For R:azzak & the Back-Room WizaR:ds:

Possible enhancement for two/three/traveling laptop display users?

RBase:

a. Reads Windows display settings;
b. Determines number of available display units;
c. Determines precedence (primary, secondary ...) of available display
units;
d. Records the user-effected distribution of RBase resources across
displays;
e. Determines status (active/inactive) of display units;
f. "Collapses" or "expands" distribution of RBase resources to active
units;

A measure of user control in a "Display Manager" for dealing with the
inevitable problem children.

Cheers,
bruce/safesectors
